Mount Pinnibar Victoria High Country Tom Groggin

We made our way to Mount Pinnibar via Tom Groggin 4WD track then along Mt Pinnibar track. The Mount Pinnibar track was truely challenging and there where many steep sections which really challenged our Toyota Fortuna. It was a nice dry sunny day which gave us plenty of good traction, however we have been told that it is pretty challenging after a substantial amount of rain. The views from the summit of Mt Pinnibar were incredible. I can see why it’s such a popular Mountain to conquer via 4WD. Once you reach the summit there is a trig point which people normally take photos at. At 1772m above sea level the views of Victorian and NSW High Country are spectacular.
