At age 18, I carved my own signature seal, which sparked my interest in seal carving and led me to decide to pursue it. I traveled to China and studied calligraphy and seal carving under Professor Gao Huimin of Capital Normal University for two years. I currently spend my days carving seals at Kamakura Tensuke, a seal carving specialty store in Kita-Kamakura.
