I visited Rainbow Mountain from Cusco, Peru. Rainbow Mountain is a colorful striped mountain located in the Andes Mountains in southern Peru. Rainbow Mountain sits at an altitude of 5,200 meters, and it requires about 1.5 to 2 hours of trekking to reach the viewpoint. While watching videos on YouTube beforehand, I saw that some people had to give up halfway due to the difficulty. I didn’t want to risk not seeing it after coming all this way, so I decided to ride a horse from the beginning. At one point, the mountain was completely covered in fog and I thought I might not see anything. However, as time passed, the weather cleared up and I was very happy that I was able to see Rainbow Mountain.
