2025 October Plant Mapping Meetup Quarterly Webinar

In October we were delighted by Chris Gabris, long time Meetup member and the Blue Raster team. They shared dynamic tips and tricks for getting the most out of the “off the shelf” software offerings included with most non-profit ESRI licenses. Blue Raster is a GIS and mapping consultancy that has been partnering with public gardens, arboreta, and cemeteries since about 2010, helping transform botanical collections into engaging, interactive spatial tools. When working with public gardens, they integrate existing plant-record systems (e.g. BG-BASE, IrisBG, Excel, GIS) with web and mobile applications, streamline staff workflows, and enable public access to collections through map-based viewers
