Engine Swap COMPLETE… But Problems Started

In this episode of DIY Rebuilds, I finally install the engine into my VW Mk1 Fox - but not everything goes as planned. We head to the exhaust shop to get everything fitted properly, but I had to make a quick decision - I gave them leftover exhaust parts from the donor car in exchange for a complete system. Was it a good deal or did I get robbed? There were also complications from the removal process, including broken bolts and a damaged flange that needed welding. The exhaust had previous damage from the accident, so fixing it properly was necessary.
