1950's Sunbeam Hedge Trimmers - Bringing an Oldie Back to Life

Welcome back to the garage for another vintage tool rescue! This time we have an oldie but goodie - early 1950's Sunbeam model A-1-A Hedge Trimmer that is in need of some serious attention. This cool little item was a gift and it still runs( even with multiple power cord bandages ). Can you imagine the time: standing in your suburban front yard, Sunbeam trimmers in hand, a new 1957 Chevy Bel Air is sitting in the driveway and the radio is playing Elvis Presley, Fats Domino, The Del-Vikings and Chuck Berry. THIS is the era these trimmers were made in. Of course we have to bring back a little of their former shine and get them rockin' and rollin' again!
