Exploring Inequities in the Transportation Sector with Dr. Sergio Castellanos Rodriguez
Emphasizing equity in the way sustainable technologies are rolled out and in how decision-makers develop their urban infrastructure planning is critical to ensure a movement towards a just and inclusive society, especially in the context of a clean energy transition. In this talk, Dr. Castellanos Rodriguez focused on a set of local and international examples where, through partnerships with government stakeholders and the private sector, we study and develop indicators to prioritize equitable interventions in the transportation sector. He concludes with highlights of his lab’s ongoing work on equitable energy transitions. This talk was part of Metcalf's 2023 Annual Public Lecture Series
