🚵‍♂️ WE LEFT ESPÍRITO SANTO TO FACE A NEW CHALLENGE IN GOVERNADOR VALADARES – MG! 🇧🇷 This time we left our comfort zone to compete on completely different terrain, facing a Mountain Bike race surrounded by incredible landscapes and high speeds around one of Minas Gerais' most famous landmarks: Pico da Ibituruna. The course was approximately 45 km long with about 550 meters of elevation gain, in a race that, at first glance, seemed relatively flat. However, anyone who cycles knows that numbers don't always tell the whole story. The course demanded a lot from the athletes, with an extremely technical start, passing through an XCO (Olympic Cross Country) section in the first few kilometers, putting all competitors to the test from the start. After the initial stretch, the race featured long, high-speed sections, fast dirt roads, climbs, and segments where maintaining a strong and constant pace was necessary to avoid losing positions. But the real difficulty appeared from the middle to the end of the course, when the trails began to dominate the landscape, demanding technique, concentration, and a lot of physical endurance to keep accelerating to the finish line.
