Radio Taiso workout and research on breast cancer related lymphedema

I’m working with Lymphedema Therapist Kathleen Lisson to share a version of the popular Japanese Radio Taiso workout. Breast cancer related lymphedema affects about 3 to 5 million patients worldwide, with about 20,000 per year in the United States. Promising research shows that doing Radio Taiso movements as part of a self-care protocol can reduce BCRL-related symptoms. In today’s exercise video, I will take you through a Radio Taiso routine. You don't need any equipment, just some space to move around while standing.
