Add the cleaned beans to boiling water (enough to cover the beans) and blanch for 3-4 minutes. Then immediately rinse in ice-cold water and let them dry on a kitchen towel. Freeze in portions. Note: The raw beans contain a toxin called phasin, so they should never be eaten raw. Heating destroys the toxin. Have fun and see you next time!
