RANDONNÉE Cascade d'Angon + Pont des Fées | Lac d'Annecy en Automne | Talloires-Montmin Haute-Savoie Discover our hike to the famous Cascade d'Angon and the mysterious Pont des Fées, one of the most beautiful walks near Lake Annecy in Haute-Savoie! This short but intense hike immerses us in a breathtaking autumn spectacle (we did it on October 30, 2024). The trail passes through a forest decked out in its finest October colors: flaming maples, golden beeches and carpets of multicolored leaves create a magical atmosphere. Beware: this is a challenging trail! Despite its short distance, the gradient is challenging. You can also see Lake Annecy reveal itself between the trees, offering magnificent vistas to photograph. The main attraction is my cascade d'Angon, an impressive 45-metre waterfall that rumbles through the heart of the cliff. Beware, however, that some sections are very slippery and even dangerous.🏃‍♂️ There's also the Pont des Fées, a unique structure clinging to the rock that adds to the charm of this Haute-Savoie hike.
