Huddersfield Station Just Changed Again! (Trans Pennine Route Upgrade)

Major progress continues at Huddersfield Station as the Transpennine Route Upgrade enters another key stage. This update follows engineering activity across the station and surrounding railway, including the installation of the new footbridge extension, ongoing restoration of the historic station roof, construction of the future lift shaft, and the latest progress on the new fast lines. A highlight of this update is the arrival of GBRf locomotive 66587 in its striking “As One, We Can” Ocean Network Express livery, hauling engineering wagons delivering material for the future railway around the new Hillhouse Sidings.
