Steals a Truck and Flatbed Trailer, Then Runs From FHP — Really?

GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. – A vehicle pursuit initiated by the Florida Highway Patrol resulted in the arrest of a suspect operating a stolen pickup truck towing a flatbed trailer. During the incident, the driver failed to stop for law enforcement and continued fleeing. While attempting to evade troopers, the suspect discarded a firearm from the vehicle. Troopers observed the item being thrown and later recovered the handgun. The pursuit continued through Gadsden County before coming to a safe conclusion at a rest area. The driver was taken into custody without further incident. The suspect faces multiple charges related to the pursuit, the stolen vehicle, and the recovered firearm.
