Described as a ‘tropical home’ made to hold the passer-by’s attention, this home in Kannur is surrounded by greenery and blends traditional Kerala architecture with modern design elements. This was a result of the client’s desire to create a unique home with elements of surprise. One of these elements is a green courtyard that sits in the centre. Naturally lit from all sides, the courtyard separates the public spaces from the family spaces in this 4-bedroom home. This also opens the home up, with minimal construction of partition walls.
