Medical Evaluation of Child Sexual Abuse
The presentation will provide an overview of how and why medical evaluations for child sexual abuse are conducted. Differences between pre-and post pubertal children will be discussed as well as why there is typically not physical evidence present even when sexual abuse/assault has occurred.
