The Legend Of Zelda (NES) Full Game (Part 2)

This is Part 2 of a full playthrough of the 1986 Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) game "The Legend Of Zelda", which features a full playthrough of the game's Second Quest. The Second Quest is an alternate version of the game that is much more difficult than the main game. It is not available at first. There are 2 ways to be able to play the Second Quest: 1-Complete the game and then start a new game using that file OR 2-Create a new file and name it "ZELDA" If the Link for a file is holding a White Sword, you are playing the Second Quest with that file. There are a number of differences in the Second Quest from the original: While the above ground map is the same except for a couple of screens, all underground levels have been moved to different locations except for Level 1, which remains in the same place as before. All underground levels have different layouts. Enemy appearances are also different and stronger enemies appear earlier. Also, the skeletons in underground levels now shoot swords to attack (they pause just before this attack). There are also orange & blue bubbles. Touching an orange bubble permanently disables your sword. Touching a blue bubble restores your sword use (you can also use a potion). In some levels, there are areas where you must either pay Rupees or sacrifice one Heart Container to proceed. Some underground levels have walls you can pass through by walking through them. These can't be revealed/blown open by bombs. Many (but not all) key items and shops have been moved to different locations. Finally, the end credits are different. This time, if you defeat Gannon and rescue Zelda, you OFFICIALLY complete the game. This time I finished the game without a couple of the items because I missed them going through the levels, but they are not needed to complete the game (Magic Rod & Book Of Magic), and after completing Level 8 I went back through because I missed one key item (Magic Key. Not required to complete the game but may have saved some having to backtrack in/out of Level 9 to get a couple keys). The first sequel, "Zelda 2: The Adventure Of Link", which continues the story after this, was released on the NES in 1987.
