There is no shortage of causes, movements, and outrage asking for our attention. People have always been willing to fight over religion, politics, ideology, and countless other things. But before picking up emotional and mental weapons on behalf of someone else's agenda, perhaps we should ask whether we really understand what we're fighting for.
