Local Fishing Community 🐟 Home Hospitality and Fish Feast in Ubonrat 🎉 New Year’s Meal w/ Li

Restricted to activities in our own province, I am happily taking the chance to visit small community restaurants that I have (overlooked? Obviously the loss was my own!!). Today, we are the guests of a community that lives on land, yet works on rafts. Raising shrimp, and larger fish (our Tilapia), while fishing in both the open water, but also in the small rivers and streams nearby, AND in the rice fields as well! (for our catfish, but mudfish was also on the menu), the very fun and enjoyable reception we had here today was fully matched by some incredible tasty dishes (huge dishes) of very tasty fishes (thank you to both the fish! and to the chef!) and this ends up being just one more beautiful day to remember in the small-community-in-the-countryside life of Esaan, North East Thailand.
