Yusuf Akçura, one of the founding fathers of Turkish nationalism... A thinker born in the same neighborhood as Lenin and fighting for the same ideals as Mustafa Kemal. A visionary who, as early as the 1900s, saw the dead ends of Ottomanism and Islamism and declared, "Nationalism is the only way out." This great intellectual, who changed the course of Turkish history with his article "Three Styles of Politics," dedicated a life to the cause of Turkishness, from the ranks of Kuleli to the lecture halls of Paris, from the exile in Tripoli to the Ankara Parliament.
