Is This '48V' Battery a Scam? Let's Open It!

They promised 48 Volts, but the math just wasn't adding up. In this video, we are opening up a cheap "48V" lithium-ion battery pack purchased online to see exactly how we're being scammed. Before even cracking the case, we do a quick multimeter voltage test to check the actual output. Then, we dive into the teardown to look at the internal cell configuration (Series vs. Parallel), check the quality of the spot welds, inspect the BMS (Battery Management System), and calculate the true nominal voltage. Spoiler alert: It’s barely a 20V max (5S) pack hidden inside a oversized plastic housing.
