Gruhn Versitar - Black Locust (Koa relative) / Cedar Top (Holly Bridge) @gruhnguitarsinc

The latest design of George Gruhn's lightly braced and uniquely voiced Versitar is deceptively loud and easiest to play. The lack of bracing means the lightest touch is clear and projected, this guitar compares to early 20th Martins that were light and vibrant. The bass is the deepest and richest I have heard in any guitar. This is a great all-rounder. I am very impressed with this recorded out front, the top creates a unique rich tone, and you can hear a reverb response similar to a single cone resonator coming through. Beautiful. I haven't decided which I like the most though as the other Adirondack/Mahogany, Adirondack/Rosewood, and Cedar / Rosewood, are all loud and have a rich bass response (better than most acoustics!!) Neck profile like a modern Ibanez electric but fatty. Very easy, neck options are available and made to order. Cedar Top - not common and a beautiful tone wood Black Locust Back and Sides (from the Acacia family tonal sits between rosewood and mahogany) Two joint Bolt-on Neck The neck joins at the 15th fret Easy maintenance access from the rear strap button and neck adjustment is easy. ‪@gruhnguitarsinc‬ ‪@NickBrightwell‬
