A luthier's story on crafting gypsy jazz guitars - SHAPING SOUND

Nicolas Perez is a French-born, Berlin-based luthier who handcrafts high-end acoustic guitars. In this documentary, we follow his journey during the making of his gypsy jazz guitar for "The Art of Making 2025", an established exhibition that, since 1980, is organised between Handwerkskammer Berlin in cooperation with the Chambre de métiers et de l’artisanat Île-de-France (Paris Île-de-France Chamber of Commerce and Crafts) and the Kunstgewerbemuseum of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin, bringing together craftspeople from Berlin and Paris.
