Driving into Interiors of Kashmir || Gurez Valley || Razdan Top

The Kashmir journey continues! In this second episode of my Kashmir border road trip, I begin my adventure from the beautiful Baramulla district of Kashmir and head towards the breathtaking Gurez Valley, one of the most remote and untouched valleys of Jammu & Kashmir. On this route, I travel through the heart of Kashmir — crossing beautiful interior villages, small towns, and scenic mountain roads that showcase the real charm of the valley beyond the usual tourist spots. Along the way, I get stunning views of the magnificent Wular Lake, one of Asia’s largest freshwater lakes, surrounded by the peaceful landscapes of Kashmir. The biggest highlight of this journey was crossing the legendary Razdan Pass, located at an altitude of around 11,672 ft, where the landscape completely transforms. From winding mountain roads to snow-covered peaks and breathtaking Himalayan views, the climb to Razdan Pass was an unforgettable experience. After crossing this high-altitude mountain pass, I finally entered the beautiful and remote Gurez Valley — a hidden gem surrounded by towering mountains, rivers, and untouched natural beauty.
