The M156 is a glorious engine, it is a flat tappet design however which benefits greatly from high zinc oils. For that reason among a few others, I decided to go with arguably one of the best synthetic performance oils on the market, Redline. Mobil 1 is the factory fill and does have some good selection if you look at their more performance oriented lineup, but for me, this engine deserves the best to give it the longevity and performance I'm looking for.
