An easy relaxing fishing weekend, turns into a crazy obstacle course riddled with giant beaver dams as I head to Temagami's Eagle Lake. The weekend forecast is strong gusting winds accompanied by a thunder storm, rain and bugs of every kind. I bring a new lure to test out and have quite the experience while fishing. The canoe I'm paddling in 2025 is an H2O Solo 14-6 in the Epoxy Pro Series Prolite Carbon: It has carbon integrated gunwales, epoxy resin, a carbon outer skin and kevlar inner layers. It weighs approximately 32 lbs. This canoe was created to celebrate H2O's 20th Anniversary displaying the standard 20th anniversary symbols of asters, platinum and emeralds. There are also 10 asters per side, totalling 20, to represent the years H2O Canoe Company has been in business.
