It is blurred out now, but that was a mistake. Hoover sign detects functional neurological disorders (FNDs), therefore, for the purpose of this video it is positive when it detects FNDs (when the affected leg exerts a force on examiner's hand) Hoover sign is used to differentiate between the organic and functional weakness of pyramidal origin.
