TVS-NFTA Buffalo Metro Rail: The Underground Part

The Buffalo Metro Rail was suppose to be built as a modern subway system akin to MARTA, DC Metro, BART, and PATCO. That never happened. Instead we got a Light Rail Line who happens to have a underground section with fully built up subway stations. This video highlights the underground section of the NFTA Metro Rail stopping at 3 stations of different designs. University, A Deep Bore Station with a London Underground feel to it. Amherst, A Cut-N-Cover Island Platform Station Summer-Best, A Cut-N-Cover Side Platform Station These stations were built by same contractors as 63rd Street, 2nd Ave Subway and Archer Ave Extensions of the NYC Subway around the same time period leading to some stations having a "63rd St" feel to them. Summber Best feels like a more brightly lit 21st-Queensbridge. Check Out My: Ko-Fi: https://ko-fi.com/nicholettecaseystrains (and support the channel!)
