Can we change education? Absolutely. We, the teachers, are the ones who must drive this change, understanding our students as the central focus of the teaching/learning process, guiding them to discover their own ideas and learn to express and defend them, developing fresh, creative, thoughtful, and reflective minds so they can thrive and adapt to today's ever-changing and competitive world. If we, as teachers, manage to develop skills in them and not fill them with what Juan Pablo calls "disposable" content, then we are changing education. Professor Romina Iragorre and Juan Pablo Rojas: As a Technology Education teacher, I have been passionate about my profession for 13 years. I enjoy creatively solving problems, and what I love most is staying active, taking on challenges, and constantly learning from the people around me who inspire me.
