Blitz Chess #475: GM Julian Hodgson vs. IM Bartholomew (Pseudo-Trompowsky)

In his active tournament days, English Grandmaster Julian Hodgson was the foremost exponent of the Trompowsky (1.d4 Nf6 2.Bg5). Here I face him in a sister variation, the Pseudo-Trompowsky (1.d4 d5 2.Bg5). Although less jarring than the immediate attack on the f6 knight, the bishop on g5 does pin Black's e-pawn. White is able to establish a queenside space advantage, but this game will be decided by a gross blunder!
