TRIBUN-VIDEO.COM - Tensions between Iran and the United States have escalated again after Iran claimed to have launched a drone attack on a US military base in Kuwait. The claim was made by the Tasnim news agency, citing an official Iranian military statement on Wednesday (July 22). Tehran said the large-scale attack targeted a US Army ammunition depot and logistics facility at Camp Doha. The base is known as one of the United States' strategic military installations in the Gulf region. Iran stated that the attack was carried out using a large number of combat drones. This move was said to be a response to alleged repeated US aggression in the Middle East. The Iranian military also emphasized its readiness to respond firmly to any new provocative actions from Washington. This claim of attack emerged shortly after the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued an open threat to the United States. The IRGC warned that all US interests and those of its allies in the Middle East would be targeted if Washington attacked Iran's nuclear facilities. Echoing the IRGC, the Iranian Military Headquarters, Khatam Al Anbiya, asserted that any attack on Iran's nuclear facilities or strategic infrastructure would be considered an escalation of the war.
