1000 Hours In and I'm Lost in My Own Base | Oxygen Not Included: Aquatic Planet DLC

Oxygen Not Included: Aquatic Planet DLC has broken my brain a little bit. Episode 23 of this playthrough and I open the save after a few days away, staring at my own colony like I've never seen it before. 🌊 I've got close to a thousand hours in this game and somehow I still can't remember what my rad bolt processing setup was supposed to do, why half my power lines are strained, or what I was even building near the research station. So this episode turns into a slow rediscovery run: figuring out the Shine Nymph breeding loop again, untangling a messy power grid running through multiple transformers, and trying to fix long commutes and a flooding warning I apparently ignored last time. Along the way I fall down a completely unnecessary rabbit hole trying to hide one ugly red conductive wire behind walls, doors, and wallpaper because the decor overlay is roasting me for it. I also stumble onto something I didn't expect: I need Plastic for my next research tier, which means it's time to figure out a Draco farm from scratch, and I finally notice that the new Refrigerator in this DLC doesn't work the way I assumed — food never fully rots, but it never stays perfectly fresh either. Basic survival numbers stay fine (oxygen, food reserves, a slowly growing Shine Nymph population), but almost nothing about my base plan is fine. Zero grand discoveries, zero disasters, just a veteran colony builder completely lost in his own creation. 🧠🔧 📚 Watch from Episode 1:    • This Flooded Planet Breaks Every Rule I Kn...   (Click any video — the rest plays automatically) 00:00 - Intro 01:24 - New DLC tech and a power grid I don't recognize 17:11 - I get obsessed with hiding one ugly wire 25:50 - Wait, I need Plastic?
