In this video I’m gonna take you on my journey of finding my new home in Sydney. I came back from Cairns around 3 weeks ago and have been looking for a new home in Sydney ever since. Initially, I wasn’t exactly sure what I was looking for. However, I knew that I wanted my new apartment to feel like a place that I looked forward coming home to. A place of comfort and coziness. Out of all the apartments I visited, there was one in particular that created this feeling. To be honest, it wasn’t as easy and smooth as it looked and definitely not an immediate ‘yes’ from their side. But after seeing it in person I was set on this place and saw the potential in it. I was willing to compromise on things that I initially saw as dealbreakers and ready to fight for it. When I saw that they had put the listing back up one week after my viewing, I was almost certain that there was no chance for me. I was a little heartbroken, thinking that I didn’t make a good enough impression. I still had a glimpse of hope left and took matters into my own hands, which, to my surprise, worked.
