Japan Travel Day! Haneda Airport, Hotel Gracery Shinjuku & 7-Eleven Egg Sandwich | DAY1 JUNE25

Join us on our travel day from LHR to HND on our first ever trip to Japan! We booked a two week trip to explore the cities in Japan, Tokyo Disney, Osaka and Universal Studios Japan! In this video we travel to Heathrow Airport to board our 14 hour British Airways flight to Haneda Airport in Japan. We arrive in Japan at 7am local time on Saturday 7th June and jump straight into a taxi to take us to Hotel Gracery Shinjuku, so that we could drop our bags off and head straight out to the city – which will be in the next video! Our first stop in Japan had to be 7-Eleven though to get the Egg Sando which was so good, you must go to the convenient stores whilst you are there to get food. For this trip we used our companion vouchers that we received through our BA AMEX card which allows you to get much cheaper flights. We paid £260 each for a return flight instead of £1,000 each, which saved us nearly £1,500 in total! We also recommend completing your immigration forms before you arrive, you can do this via Visit Japan Web and then you only have to scan a QR code once you land. If you don’t do this, then you will need to fill out forms which are provided once you exit the plane. One final thing I wanted to mention is that we activated our e-sims in Heathrow airport that we brought this through Holafly using a discount code. This was very simple to setup and it worked when we arrived, but the signal was very patchy throughout the whole trip so please keep that in mind.
