Garden City Sanitation | Peterbilt 520 Labrie Expert Dual Helping-Hand Garbage Truck (#1232)

After one of my lectures, I thought to just check RT123 while I was on the way home for fun, and noticed that a lot of streets were still uncollected well past noon (route is typically completed before 11AM). I stopped by a local restaurant and noticed that 1232 was parked outside with the route's relief driver taking a quick meal break inside. After a bit of talking we hopped back on the route. The route wasn't cleared until around 4PM due to some overshot streets, and a problem relating to the truck's fueling system. I was glad that I was actually able to find this truck, as the regular driver now almost exclusively takes out one of the spare Automizers in lieu of the Expert due to the arm speed and body capacity. After WC management ordered the restructuring of all of the routes, I have no clue where this truck might run on a normal residential route, so it'll be quite a while until I can get another video of this truck again that isn't on a one-way street. Special thank you to Antione for allowing me to film! Enjoy the video! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SOCIAL MEDIA/MISCELLANEOUS LINKS ►Instagram:   / sanjosegarbagetrucks   ►Facebook:   / sanjosecagarbagetrucks   ►Flickr: https://www.flickr.com/people/1463061... ►SJRecycles: https://sanjoserecycles.org/ ►SJ Collection Day Lookup: https://gis.sanjoseca.gov/maps/servic... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DISCLAIMERS: ►ALL comments needlessly criticizing the performance of drivers, companies, or municipalities will be removed; this is a channel for documenting refuse trucks and related topics.
