Summer railfanning on the New Haven Line! Featuring the new Acela & a GP40!

Recorded July 2025. This past summer, William and I ventured out to Connecticut to do some railfanning. We hung out with TechNerdNolan during our trip out to Connecticut and it was a lot of fun! We visit three stations during our trip out that include trains from the Danbury and Waterbury Branches. We got to see one of the two vintage GP40 locomotives that the MTA is leasing from CT Rail as well as a test run of the new Amtrak Acela trains. Finally, we finally made it to the completed Merritt 7 Station and experienced the entirety of the new station. Another action packed video for you all! Enjoy!
