On Thursday, April 16, 2026, the book Manifesto of the Emotional Garden by Arnaud Maurières and Éric Ossart, published by artlecta, will be presented in the Auditorium of the Royal Botanical Garden-CSIC. The publication, a manifesto as its title indicates, explores the possibilities of the relationship between nature and landscape as a project of human intervention on what already exists. The authors address topics such as the role of art in gardens, the presence and work of the gardener in their landscapes, and the relationship between narratives that explore the natural landscape and our more contemporary context of action. In addition to the manifesto, this publication includes a series of appendices that portray the main proponents and leading figures on the subject, as well as Mathias Goeritz's *Manifesto of Emotional Architecture*.
