PIMS No Longer Minority College? Madras HC Order Explained

PIMS (Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences) may no longer be a Christian minority institution — and this could change how MBBS counselling works in Puducherry going forward. In this video, we break down a recent Madras High Court ruling (W.P.No.30897 of 2025) where PIMS itself asked to give up its minority status, and the Court directed the Puducherry government to treat the college as non-minority for future admissions.
