Exploring The Pine Tree Mine - Mina, Nevada

Here is list of some of our more recent mine explores and some of our favorites:    • Our Favorite Mine Explorations   This video describes our exploration of the Pine Tree Copper Mine near Mina, Nevada the way we found it on 4-20-2019. JJ Walker coined the phrase Dy-No-Mite on the tv show Good Times and seeing all these boxes immediately made me think of that saying. There are a lot of mines of different types in the general area around Mina. The turnoff to this one is about halfway up Dunlap Canyon. There are a couple of other prospects and cabins on the road leading to the mine. There might be more workings than we found further up the mountain where we didn't go. There must have been 75 dynamite boxes filled with ore samples in one of the adits. There are some beautiful colors and minerals in some of the ore veins there.
