Colección de reliquias del Convento del Santo Ángel de Sevilla

The Discalced Carmelites of the Convent of Santo Ángel in Seville are showcasing their collection of relics at the Carmen Coronada Mariano Library and Museum. The collection includes pieces belonging to Saint Teresa of Ávila, other saints, and even Roman martyrs, displayed alongside other works of artistic and documentary interest. The relics, dating from different periods, are exhibited in a display case in the Museum. Many are authentic and come with a certificate bearing the corresponding seal. The display includes paintings, reliquaries, caskets, monstrances, and more. Also on display in the same case is a donation of four panels from a 16th-century altarpiece by Francisco Pacheco, Velázquez's teacher, depicting scenes from the life of Saint John. The exhibition also features written documents such as a letter from Saint Teresa, a letter from her nurse, Ana de San Bartolomé, and four letters from Cardinal Spinola.
