Big Lingcod & More On Artificial - Santa Cruz Rental Boat

First trip of the year on the Santa Cruz rental boat, and it was definitely one of my best days of fishing ever!! My first ever halibut (28”) and my first limit of lingcod (24” & 29”) all on berkley 6” nuclear chicken grub on 1 1/2 oz jig head!! Shoutout to Jordan for driving the boat and catching some nice fish for the video!! I ended up giving my rockfish and the smaller lingcod to him and his family for their fish fry!! I definitely need to work on my filleting and get a better knife, all I know is that halibut and lingcod was way to much for my mom and I so we ended up sharing it with friends and neighbors!!
