360° Pebbledash HVS 5a ** - The Roaches | VR Trad Climb

This is a full 360° video for people who want to have a closer, more immersive experience than in an edited video. The best way to view this video is using VR headset but you can also use (amongst others) phone gyro, finger or mouse to change the view. Pebbledash at The Roaches, lower tier is a two star HVS 5a, first climbed in 1969 by Dave Salt. The name on the surface, is loosely descriptive of the rough gritstone texture, but given the nature of the route, it is hard not to hear a second, rather less dignified meaning as well. This is British climbing, which has after all, never been short of schoolboy humour! Sitting as it does, right next door to Valkyrie, Pebbledash also makes a neat companion route.
