An excerpt from Robert Rogler’s work, The Twelve Dancing Princesses, a ballet inspired by the Grimm fairy tale, Die zertanzten Schuhe. This video features the second and third dances of the ballet. THE STORY The video opens with the princesses, having outrun their chaperones, entering a clearing in the woods and dancing for the sheer joy of it. One of the princesses notices a hunting horn on the ground... Curious, she goes looking for where it could have come from and stumbles upon a hunter. He holds out his hand and she returns the horn, but he tosses it aside and invites her to dance. This project is available for funding.
