Bandon Burns!
The town of Bandon, Oregon, was destroyed by fire in 1936. Actual accounts by survivors are read aloud by members of the Bandon Playhouse, along with historic photos from before and after the inferno. Survivor narratives are from the book 'Bandon Burns! Survivor Accounts of the Bandon Fire of 1936' by the Bandon Historical Society. One clarification: Although several are mentioned, the only birth on record is the son of Alice Adams. Photos are: Pre-fire (at 00:1:10), fire aftermath (1:08:12), and Bandon rebuilds (1:25.15).
