PoE 3.17 - Crafting a 1000+ PDPS Staff

In today's video, I'll be crafting a 1080PDPS Staff! After crafting the 980pdps axe and the 930pdps sword, I had to go for the 1000pdps threshold. Crafting a 1000pdps weapon has been a goal of mine for ages and with the introduction of improved Essences and fractured mods, this is easier than ever. The Forbidden Trove Discord:   / discord   _____________________________________ Method BASE: Start with a base with Fractured Merciless (T1 %Phys). You can either self-fracture or buy a base off the market. Try get it to 30% quality with Perfect Fossils before starting 1. Use Deafening Essences of Contempt until you hit a high tier of hybrid physical damage (% phys + flat accuracy). Your prefixes are now complete! 2. Lock prefixes and reforge speed. Repeat this until you get a high tier of Attack speed that you're happy with. 2.5 If you roll a good tier of Attack Speed but a bad second suffix, see if the second suffix has the Attack Tag. If it doesn't, craft on Cannot Roll Attack Modifiers and attempt to annul the bad mod. Annuls respect Metacrafts like Cannot Roll Atttack Modifiers, so every mod with the attack tag will be safe. If you annul off CRAM, craft it on again and try. 2.5.5. If you reforge speed and fill your suffixes, reforge keeping prefixes with Harvest 2.5.5.5. If you reforge speed and get good attack speed and another good suffix, jump ahead to the final step 3. With Attack Speed as your only suffix, craft on "Can have up to 3 crafted modifiers" and "Prefixes cannot be changed" and do a T4 Aisling. You have a 66% chance of success. If she removes Attack Speed, return to Step 2. 4. With a veiled modifier and the attack speed safe, craft on Damage per Power Charge and Unveil the item. If you get a mod you're happy with, select it. If Jun doesn't offer any good modifiers, try to select one WITHOUT the attack tag. This will allow you to safely remove it with the method described in 2.5. If every mod has the attack tag, lock prefixes and try to annul the bad unveiled mod. Repeat from step 2 if you annul the attack speed, repeat from step 4 if you annul the mod successfully. 5. Once you have unveiled a good modifier, all that's left to do is craft on a mod with the crafting bench! 6. Bonus: if you have too much currency, buy some Tempering Orbs and hit the staff with them until you get increased effect of Physical Modifiers. These are very expensive, but it is worth it if you want to minmax your item.
