PoE 3.17 - Crafting a CWDT Ward Helmet

In today's video, I'll be crafting CWDT Ward Helmet using a lot of the new currency items introduced in PoE 3.17 - Eldritch Ichor, Eldritch Ember, Eldritch Exalt, Eldritch Annul and Eldritch Exalted Orbs! The Forbidden Trove Discord:   / discord   __________________________________ -Method- Implicits: 1. Spam Greater Eldritch Ichor for Spell Damage/Desired Eater Implicit 2. Once you hit it, use an Eldritch Ember on the Helmet -- you can use an Exceptional Eldritch Ember as this may increase the odds to "elevate" the tier of the Pierce mod. Note: only do this if you intend to make your Eater of Worlds Implicit a higher tier (dominant) over the Searing Exarch implicit. We will need Eater of Worlds to be dominant so that we can safely roll our suffixes later on. 3. Use an Orb of Conflict. If the Eater Modifier goes to Grand, perfect, move on. If it drops to Lesser, repeat from Step 1 4. Create an Imprint of the Helmet and use another Orb of Conflict. If it goes up, repeat this until the modifier reaches a tier that you're happy with. If it fails and lowers the tier of correct mod, apply the imprint and try again 5. After getting the desired mod to a tier that you are happy with, apply Eldritch Embers to get a second implicit that you like. Again, make sure that Eater of Worlds is dominant (has a higher tier implicit)! Explicits: Prefixes: 1. Spam Dense Fossils to get high ward. It shouldn't be too hard to hit decently high ward unless you get unlucky. When you do, it's time to move onto the suffixes. 2. If you have an open prefix, you can bench craft on Life Suffixes: 0. Spam it with Eldritch Chaos until happy Or... 1. Use Eldritch Annuls to remove any suffixes that are on the item (assuming they are all bad) 2. Choose a mod to block on the bench - don't forget about the regex trick. Accuracy is most likely the best option unless you need it on your build. If you want to block Accuracy type accuracy|remove crafted mods in the search bar at the top 3. With a bench crafted mod on the item, hit the item with an Eldritch Exalt. If you're unhappy with the mod, you can use another and then attempt to annul off the first bad mod if the second mod is good. 4. Repeat this process. Before using Eldritch Annuls, remove the crafted mod! 5. If you need a specific unveil, after getting the suffix you want, isolated, craft on "Can have up to 3 crafted modifiers" and "Prefixes Cannot be Changed" and go for an Aisling. You will have a 66% chance of success, but if you fail, you'll need to restart your suffixes. If Aisling removes one of the crafted mods, move on to step 6. 6. Block a modifier on the crafting bench that you do not want to unveil. Most modifiers have a similar weighting except for the resistance modifiers - these have a weighting of about 24%, but they do not block each other. I opted for Mine Throwing Speed. 7. Unveil the item. If you get what you want, great, move onto the next step. If you don't get any modifiers you want, you'll need to unveil, then use an Eldritch Annul to remove the unwanted suffix. If you fail, you'll need to restart your suffixes. If you remove the bad unveiled mod, repeat from step 5. Step 8: Your item should now be done!
