Paróquia de Capela, Concelho de Penafiel, Distrito do Porto, Portugal Igreja Paroquial de São Tiago (Maior) SINOS (do maior ao menor) 🔔1.º | Lá# 🔔2.º | Dó 🔔3.º | Ré 🔔4.º | Ré# Aviso fúnebre para o término de uma missa de Exéquias Fúnebres, seguida do sepultamento do caixão para o cemitério local: 2.º Aviso com 1 sinal (VER NOTAS A SEGUIR) EXECUÇÃO DO AVISO FÚNEBRE Os dois maiores sinos do conjunto (Lá# - Dó) balançam de forma cadenciada, acompanhados com o toque dos dois menores (Ré - Ré#), que imitam o toque de bamboar por meio dos seus martelos externos NOTAS | NOTA 1 | Nas missas de exéquias fúnebres, os sinos das igrejas executam o toque fúnebre para anunciar aos paroquianos que se está a celebrar uma missa em memória da pessoa que faleceu recentemente. Cada celebração pauta-se sempre por 2 momentos, o seu início e o seu término: Quando a mesma está a iniciar, com a entrada do caixão dentro da igreja, os sinos do templo executam um primeiro aviso que assinala o começo da celebração. No seu término, já com a saída do caixão do interior do templo, que irá, logo de seguida, ser sepultado no cemitério local, os sinos da igreja tocam, uma segunda e última vez, para anunciar o fim da celebração. Neste caso, o toque gravado anunciava o final de uma missa fúnebre que estava a decorrer, ou seja, o 2.º e último momento da celebração. NOTES | NOTE 1 | At funeral Masses, church bells ring the funeral toll to announce to parishioners that a Mass is being celebrated in memory of the recently deceased. Each celebration is always marked by two moments: its beginning and its end. When the service begins, with the entry of the coffin into the church, the church bells ring a first toll to signal the start of the celebration. At its conclusion, once the coffin has been carried out of the church—to be buried shortly thereafter at the local cemetery—the church bells ring a second and final time to announce the end of the service. In this case, the recorded chime announced the end of a funeral Mass that was taking place, that is, the second and final moment of the service.
