Retiring Early: How we quit teaching at 51...

In this video, we're sharing the story of how we made the decision to retire early from our teaching careers at the age of 51. After significant personal trauma in 2021, we made the decision to early retire in the summer of 2022 and we are now 18 months into our early retirement adventure. During that time we sold our family home, relocated to the Yorkshire Dales and renovated a cottage that has become our dream forever home. We now spend our time travelling the UK, Europe and the World in our VW campervan Nelson. Join us as we discuss the motivations behind our choice to leave teaching, including our desire for greater freedom, flexibility, and pursuit of new passions.
