The Daycare Stuck in a Standstill War
The Radiant Citadel is an interesting concept for a settlement, but falls short with how strongly the writers tried to make it a place of convenient justice. It feels like everything is good and safe and nice while also not answering enough questions as to "why aren't the warmongers warmongering?" So it's peppered with lore notes that give it an eerie, uncanny sort of smiling mask. If you trust something as safe as the Citadel, you'll die the moment you leave it. Also that ritual is insane.
