The Only Force Techniques Both Jedi and Sith Agreed to Ban

Across thousands of years of war between the Jedi and the Sith, a small number of Force techniques were quietly set aside, not through any treaty, and not for the same reasons. This video looks at three of them: midi-chlorian manipulation, Force Drain, and Force Walking. What each one actually does, why its practitioners believed they could control it, and why each of them ended up destroyed, in different ways, by the technique itself. And Darth Nox, who turned to Force Walking as an emergency answer to a stronger enemy, bound the spirit of Darth Andru and additional Sith apparitions, defeated his rival, and then nearly died when those bound spirits became uncontainable and triggered a crippling sickness he had to cure before he could subdue them. The focus is on the mechanics, the deeper questions behind each case, and the pattern that connects them: in each one, a practitioner reached for power that came from somewhere else, and the somewhere else had its own intentions.
