BEAR-9 High Altitude Balloon Flight with a 4x5 camera #1

Video from a GoPro camera aboard the flight with a homemade light-weight 4x5 sheet film camera. An ArduIMU controller was programmed to trip the 4x5 camera shutter once above the programmed minimum altitude AND the camera was within a few degrees of level, facing North within so many degrees, rotating no faster than so many degrees/sec and acceleration was less than the programmed maximum. A piezo buzzer near the GoPro and connected to the 4x5 shutter allowed using the GoPro audio track to locate the video frame with an image matching what the 4x5 camera had captured to know, long before we could have the film processed and returned, if a suitable image was captured, we needed to try again or if programming changes were perhaps needed before trying again.
